Harbour[]
The harbour is probably the second largest source of work after the farms outside the town. There are quite a lot of fishermen, so naturally the harbor is full of fishing boats and it almost always smells of fish. Some of the fishermen sell their catch themselves so if you want fresh fish, going to the harbour will get you what you need. The harbour is big enough to let smaller ships dock, so there are occasionally smaller freighters stopping into port.
The neighbourhood around the harbor is almost something of a slum, it’s a bit rundown and it’s not a place one should be at night. The rents are cheap but there is a bit of a problem with crime, there are frequent reports of muggings after dark. The harbour side neighborhood has because of this earned a bad reputation, and the police usually try to keep an extra keen watch. There are a few cheap hotels as well, but most tend to avoid them.
